I am a proud Bitterrooter!   Susan was born and raised in Darby, attended Darby Schools, and is a graduate of the University of Montana.  The summers of her college years Susan was an employee of the USFS – clearing trails in the Anaconda Pintler Wilderness, and her passion for the Montana outdoors was born.  Hiking, long distance running, cycling and snowshoeing continue today to be activities that Susan participates with family and friends.

After graduation from the UM, Susan moved to Oregon to pursue her career in Education and the Textile Industry.  It was at that time that she met her husband Paul and together they have a daughter Nicole.  Susan worked 25 years in Portland for Springs Industries and Columbia Sportswear in textile research and development.

Susan is familiar with the Bitterroot Valley; her upbringing and knowledge with the land, and her professional manner will be assets in helping the client achieve the dream of Montana living.  I look forward to assisting you in that endeavor.
